Our brave Air Force was flying a mission called Operation Brahma to help people in Myanmar after an earthquake. But during the flight, someone tried to confuse the plane using a digital trick!

What is GPS Spoofing?

Airplanes use GPS – like a magical compass – to know their location in the sky. But during this mission, someone sent fake GPS signals. This is called GPS Spoofing.

Imagine if your compass showed the wrong direction – that’s what happened to the plane's navigation system. It got confused and thought it was somewhere else. This could have been very dangerous!

Thankfully, our Indian Air Force pilots are highly trained. They quickly realized something was wrong and used another backup system that does not depend on GPS. The airplane stayed safe and completed the mission successfully. Our pilots are true heroes!
